Re-design and develop a microsite to deliver a range of eductational material for all primary school groups.
As part of a wide range of activity for Scottish Water, Spring redeveloped the Education microsite for the utility company.
Educating primary school pupils about the water cycle and the importance of keeping our pipes and waterways clear is an important part of Scottish Water's strategy.
As part of an ongoing relationship across all business areas, Spring were asked to redesign and redevelop the Education section of the main Scottish Water website.
Constraints introduced by Enterprise CMS used across the main site meant that the Education site was out-of-date in terms of branding, usability, accessibility and content.
With a major offline marketing initiative from the education team, it was essential that the site was rebuilt as quickly as possible.
Within very demanding deadlines that could not be missed, Spring redesigned and rebuilt the entire site.
Spring implemented a new CMS to enable the marketing team to update the site regularly, and the new brand guidelines were applied across all the site, including significant forensic re-engineering of Flash and PDF resources.
The new site, with mandatory branding updates went live in good time for the roadshow. The new CMS scores highly for both overall site usability and accesssibile build.
It's too early to gauge results from overall site statistics, but the result so far is the one we like best: a Very Happy Client.
